Default ZJ and XJ front coils interchange

Thank you for the advice.
It appears I understood him wrong!
Do you know what the standard unloaded lengths for the front coils on a XJ should be?
I am thinking of putting some spacers on the front coils of my XJ, but I think mine has sagged - so would like to get that sorted first?

ZJ and XJ front coils interchange, by ZJ front coils will lift a XJ more than a ZJ (ZJ is heavier)

And there is no way your friend put his ZJ rear coils on the front and got lift - 1: they wouldn't fit, and 2: they would DROP the front, not lift it. If he swapped the front to the back it would work as described though...

None to very little because I have a 3 in and I wouldn't have to trim much to fit then

You will have to trim a bunch if you get any good flex. I'm on 4.5 with 32's and I had to trim. My buddy is 4.5 with 33's and he trimmed a little more and still smashes

I'm not positive, but I believe the front coils on the dakota are a wider diameter... even if they are, I'm not sure they'd really give you any lift. The main reason they give lift in the back of our jeeps is because a.) you are combining them with your main leaf and b.) pickup trucks have heavier duty springs because they are designed to haul payload and tow.

here's a link to a sticky thread on junkyard builds https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/bud...herokee-58797/

Really? How wide are your tires?? Mine are 10.5 and only rub on full lock other than that I have zero problems with rubbing.
