Yea I run without swaybars also. Wont go back to them either.
For those interested in a more adventure type rig that doesn't need a ton of mods and money spent. I am running 2.5in of lift, 32.5 tires. No swaybars, stock control arm and shocks. No transfer case drop. Stock fenders and flares.
Rear is just fine, front rubs the stock fender flares under full flex. Also the stock front brake lines are taught fully cranked at full flex. Extended bump stops front and rear (3in) fixes the rubbing.
So my advise would be to get extended brake lines with a set up similar to mine. I get a very slight vibration at full acceleration. Probably due to no transfercase drop. Which I am NOT going to do. Lose too much clearance. Why lift if your going to drop the transfer I figure.
My rig is an everyday driver, and every weekend trail rig. May go with a 3.5 in lift just to get the gas tank out of the way. But the way it is works great.

I have a 1999 XJ with the stock 215/75/15 tires and stock 15x7 wheels. My wheels are all chipped up and starting to rust, so I was thinking of getting my new wheels now, rather than wait for my lift and tires, since I don't know when that will be. I am just unsure as to my tires will fit the wheels?
Any advice on what to do? Or suggestions on rims?
I like the Cragar Soft 8's and the ION Alloy's Type 174.
