Nah, go no smaller than 12" wide. I personally think 15" wide rims with the stock tires will give you that super awesome fast and the furious drift look. oh and dont forget the huge crome lip son...........

Lol

After five days of hell I finally finished my first lift. Thanks for all the help. Pictures are beginning of the spring and right now. Next step is to tackle the rust!

Wow. So mature guys. If that's the way you like it, you can do it to your Jeep. I was asking a simple question since I've never done wheels and tires on my own.

Thanks. That's what I've been looking at. 15x8 and eventually some 32s to go with a 4.5" RC lift. But that will be a few months off. Just need wheels for now.

I'm not the fun police. . I've just had a bad week so far. Sorry for the comment, I just wanted a serious answer as my wheels are getting loose from the lug holes rusting out. I need wheels quick.

It happens, just try to calm down here. 15x8 will let you use tires anywhere from 215/75/15 up to a 12.5" wide later on.

with my 98 xj just about on the road im starting to finalized my ideas for a lift and tires im looking at a 5.5 IRO long arm kit. does anyone have input about this lift ive read around they are tough and built to quality but my question is how is the rear end leafs are they real stiff and bouncy or at least somewhat smooth around town or rough roads?

I love the 32s with 2.5 in of lift, 4.5in backspacing. Tucks right in the fender Wells. No cutting or trimming needed. Great low center of gravity.

Great lift, thats the one I have. Rear leafs were decently soft before I put my garbage rough country shocks on. Decent flex, amd pretty beefy like everything else iro makes. Id get shackle relocation brackets though. my rear shackle angle was garbage after the lift
