I've hears people say the zone kit rides nicer. They are basically the same kit and both are decent for the price. The only thing you need is a track bar and some longer brake lines if your gonna wheel it hard. You can relocate the front lines and get a TJ rear line for like $15 or so. As far as tires go its all in what you're gonna do with it. My vote is always for the wrangler duratracs.

So I bought a 1990 Cherokee with a 4.5" longarm lift with new leaf packs and 32/11.50 15 tires

What I want to do is get 2" lift shackles and 2" coil spacers for a 6.5" lift to fit some 35/12.50 tires as my current maxxis Mudder buckshot's are dry rotting.

I already plan on getting an adjustable trac bar,drop pitman arm and 6 inch lift shocks,but What Im wondering is will I need a t-case drop or sye?

Its got a steering stabilizer aswell,I get zero vibes as it sits currently

You will most likely need an sye at 6.5 inches. And if you don't already have extended brake lines then you will need them.

Alright cool,and yes the po did install extended brake lines.

And I've read sye kits are pricey,but this kit is relatively inexpensive

For $200 you can get a hack and tap from IRO with a driveshaft. And if you only have 2hi 4hi and 4lo then its the 231. If you have 4part time and 4full time its the 242

2" shackles will not give you 2" of lift though. I believe the formula for calculating the amount of lift is (shackle length) x .75

It's 1/2" for every inch of shackle, like 2" shackle is 1" lift

Can I use a t-case drop kit for a couple months on 6.5"of lift until I get a hack and tap or sye?

You might be ok with a t-case drop, you might have to have an sye it is different for every jeep.

Thanks for the info,I might not even need to get a sye.Having zero driveshaft vibes and seeing that my driveshaft was at an angle that I dont think a slip yoke could handle makes me think that the previous owner already installed a cv driveshaft.

I havent gotten under it long enough to tell.Its being stored at my dads work for a couple days until we have driveway space.

That's was my initial thought, but was told by Dirk (DPG offroad) that the taller spring should be on the passenger's side.
Can anyone confirm???
