Want to sell it. My lifted Xj runs great and would rather spend the money to maintain my lifted one. The 33's are are a killer on gas, so I was wondering if I could run 235 on it for better gas milage. But most importantly safely.
It's not a very good pic but that's 4.5" on 235/75's with stock steelies

It might be a little more unstable from the tires only being 9 or so inches wide and the high center of gravity. Like mentioned it'll look goofy.

So now my other question. Is there a huge difference between the hack n tap and the rusty's kit they have on sale seen here; http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-dr...liminator.html
190 bucks seems like a good price
Im thinking the re-locaters for the shackles with a longer shackle will be my method of attack.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the input LR. Believe me when I tell you I have trimmed it. I went as much as I could with out it affecting the external appearance. She has just settled now and its time for more. I obviously wanted to wait to see where she settled in at.

If it's done correctly, I don't see a problem with it.
The AA SYE completely replaces the output shaft and does not require any drilling or tapping. Just bolting.
I run the AA SYE and haven't had an issue with it.

I want to do the cheapest budget boost I can for the time being (so I can fit my 30" tires), then I will slowly up grade everything to a 2" OME kit over several years. My rear has sagged about a half an inch, so I'm thinking about going with an Add-A-Leaf until I can afford full OME packs. Right now the Rusty's budget boost kit is looking like it's going to fit my needs well, unless y'all know of anything cheaper.
The previous owner of my Jeep put new stock shocks on her fairly recently; do y'all think those will work with the Rusty's BB until I can afford OME shocks?

Ok I decided to bite the bullet and just go ahead and spend the extra coin on an OME 3"lift! However, I am wanting to know if I need JKS Quicker Disconnects, Sway bar Disco Cables, or Extended Bump Stops if all I will be doing is street driving and really never going off road?

If ALL you do is street driving then you don't really need those things.
I run discos on my 3" lifted DD but I don't think I've ever disconnected them...
