Some used rough country 4.5" coils that I bought off here about a month ago. The jeep leaned as soon as I put them on. It leans an inch to the passenger side front AND back

Have you tried swapping the springs to the other side?

Mine used to lean like that.

I replaced the rear springs and it sits level now.

Adding extra xj leafs is like wiping before you poop. They all have stock arch and spring rate so they won't give you any lift over stock. That's why ppl use s10 and Dakota springs. More arch and higher spring rate

actually they will - by adding more leafs he's increasing the spring rate of the pack, thus resulting in more lift under the same load. Arch ain't everything.

So how much lift will that give then? I see your theory behind this but I don't see how it would equate to 4" of lift? I am not trying to be ignorant, I just didn't realize it could give you so much lift

Maybe that will work. My buddy used an extra xj main in his pack and it didn't do anything but perhaps 2 extra and the shackle will get ya there.

It adds the height of each leaf, plus the extended shackle. Then factor in the loss of spring compression due to the higher spring rate. Will it give 4? I don't think so, but I'm guessing. Either way, it'll be taller than the single stock pack.

it will not give 4" - maybe closer to 1.5"-2" depending on the pack condition.

I assume the rest of the lift will come from the shackles
