Default 3" lift require brake lines?

Hi guys,
Planning to install my mild 3" lift next weekend on my 96 XJ. From what I'm told I don't need a t case drop, but do I need longer brake lines? I think I read that i may, and that stock brake lines from a wrangler work as cheap way to solve, but if I don't need them, would like to know. Hate going to the parts store once everything is torn out.
Thanks

youll most likely need longer brake lines. if you dont get them, itd be ok for road driving, but i dont think itd be good for wheeling. im installing my 3" lift on my 96 next weekend too, btw. lmao.

When relocating the front stock brake line when doing a lift can you bend the metal brake tube carefully by hand to straighten it out or do you need a tool? How did everyone else do it?

Just do it very carefully with your hands.

Just bend it with your hands and be easy. Bend once. Dont bend it back and forth or it'll brake for sure. Very simple and effective mod.

Ok IV got lift shackels for the rear end, what would be the best way to install them? Lift the rear end up on Jack standard at the frame rail and let the Adelaide droop then just unbolted and resecure after new ones are on? Or is there a different way of doing it?

I was thinking the same thing then I looked up a few versions of it online and think you could use it to bend it back or a different way.

I don't know if it is the same for those little brake line or copper tube benders, but this pic is what I do for a living and you cant straighten pipe with a bender.

They have some hand held Benders for brake line that look similar to wire strippers, to me they look like they would work but ill just do.mine by hand.
