Currently running 245/70r16 and am installing a 3 lift in about 2 - 3 weeks.
I have trimmed and am running 1.25 in wheel spacers.
I need to go ahead and get my tires put on - the ones I have a worn, patched etc.. and I have a long road trip.
Finally my Q:
Do you think I can go ahead and get my 265/75R16 installed (up from 245) and not rub for DD action. No wheeling until I get my lift on.

..

you may rub a bit, but should be manageable

I've been running Hankook Dynapro Mt's for a few years and have never been disappointed once. And they're cheap ($216 for 33x12.5). They do great, although a little sketchy on ice. They wear great as I've put at least 40k on them and wear evenly as long as your alignment and balancing is good. They're a good daily driver tire for an MT. If you're looking for mileage though get an AT.

Put the tires on and lowered the jack real slow and the springs went right into position. Thanks for the suggestions and replies. All good to go now. Rides great up to 75 mph.
