The only difference is the back spacing and the fact that I never air down the 31s.
If I were to wheel 31s I'd prefer they be on a set of stock wheels.
awesome info; thanks guys. sounds like i may be under-tired for the 15x8s according to some of you. I may just save the money and go with the stock jeep wheels then. If I rub control arms I will adjust steering stop.

Im looking to lift my 99 xj mildly i want to have it on 30s right now biggest i might go in the future is 31s. I'm going to need tires prior to winter so i figure why buy stock tires. my rear is pretty saggy practically flat leafs. Whats the cheapest proper way i can do it with a suspension lift? what size should i go?
