Default Lift height.

I've just bought a stock standard xj 95. I want to run 33inch mud terrains under it. Will 3inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift be enough to accommodate them?

Yup just make sure you get a nice and solid body lift, you dont want any rubber junk in there...
Do 4.5" suspension lift and cut the front fenders then fold the rear and call it good
Just so you know... you may have a hard time trying to install a body lift with having to cut the frame off and all

Hey guys,
I post here quite often, and I'm still not sure as to what I wanna do about lifting my XJ. It will mostly see on road time, with a bit of offroading, so I want to run 31s or 32s on it. I'm unsure of whether I should get the RE 3.5 or 4.5 superflex, or the IRO 4" short arm lift. I know that the 4.5 superflex has the most customized parts, but it also calls for more expensive tires. Do you guys have any insight? I was thinking about ordering the 4.5 superflex with 3.5 coils.

Just get the 3.5 kit. It's best for what you plan to do.

Order the RE 3.5" lift and 31" tires and be happy.

RE also has a 3.5 superride as well don't they? Also the type of lift does not determine the type of tires. You could run bald *** 29" mud terrains in sand and the lift wouldn't care. If its going to be your daily driver you should go for something comfortable with some decent shocks. Also consider that there may be some driveline issues with those size lifts, extremely noticeable and uncomfortable at highway speeds. Ask me how I know haha

This is semi-related to the topics here so I'll ask.

How do you get the steering stabilizer off the drag link? I removed the nut and tried a ball joint fork with no luck. Am I just being too genital?

I have a new RE I'd like to install.

Default 4.5'' lift - DPA or no DPA?

I got the front end all done on my lift (decided to take a break before tackling the rear after the fight with the front) but I'm wondering if I should get a drop pittman arm or not.

Installed the 4.5'' Rough Country X series lift, new coils, shocks, adjustable track bar, and adjustable upper and lower control arms. In the short bit I moved the Jeep to turn it around and back into the garage I felt like the turning radius was a bit bigger but wasn't sure if that was in my head or not. I'd like to get this figured out before I take the XJ in for an alignment.

So, should I get a drop pittman arm and if so, how much of a drop should I be looking for?

Thanks!

**edited to add in alignment bit**

First, there should be no genitals used to remove the stabilizer.

Yes, you're being too gentle. Smack the hell out of it with a big hammer.
