Of course it would. You said you weren't running 38"s. That's about the only reason why could see you might need 7"s of lift and the extra stress on your steering.

In that case yes, 31s will fit fine on stock wheels, they may rub lcas at full lock, in which case you could adjust your steering stops and fix that.

I have an issue with rubbing, but it looks like my steering stops are welded... unless the whole thing moves...

I have quick temporary tire question for you gurus.

My jeep goes under the knife on the 29th to get lift, SYE/DS, shims etc... However, I want to have my new wheels/tires mounted before they do the lift so I only have to do one alignment (and preferably have it done at the 4x4 shop rather than the tire place).

Can I stick my 15x8, 3.75"BS wheels with 32"s on and DD it to the shop without any serious rubbing, grinding or any other issues? I'd literally be getting the wheels/rubber mounted and taking it down to the shop the next day without any wheeling or flexing.

'ppreciate it!

Your going to cut em up. Just bring them with you and have them mount em after they do the lift. No need for a alignment after they mount tires anyways

There is a tack there to stop it from being tightened further, but you can loosen them. It will prevent LCA rubbing, but will also reduce your turning radius.

Thanks man. That was my initial thought was to bring my wheels with me and drive it on the stock wheels/tires to the tire place after the lift.

I just wanted to avoid the "lifted on stock shoes" look

Default Replacing bent rim?

I need to replace one of my Cragar Soft 8 rims (15"x7" - 4.25" backspacing), should I replace as a pair or am I good to just replace the one bad rim? I've had these rims for 5 years, my concern is the new rim won't have the exact weight/dimensions as the old ones. I also plan on repainting all the rims. What do you think??

You'll be fine with replacing one. As long as its the same size wheel.
