I had the new 31x10.50's put on today and had the jeep aligned as well. The track bar lowering bracket might have to wait until this weekend. I also had the techs that put the tires on go around and retighten all the nuts and bolts on the suspension (I had driven about 60 miles on the new lift before they did that) By the way I can move the front end sway bar with my hands while the jeep is on the ground. I don't think that I should be able to do that haha

Can you run Acog adjustable spacers with stock springs to give you a small budget boost style lift in the front?
If so what is the min and max lift acogs will get you?

Not a question, just a statement.
Getting a vibration between 20 and 35mph after a piddly little 2" lift. Ordered a 1" t-case drop kit yesterday and hopefully, that'll fix the problem.

1988 Jeep cherokee Lift
I want to put a lift kit on my 1988 Jeep Cherokee (Automatic 4.0 straight six), but I don't know what to get. I want it to ride good on the street and in the forest. I'd prefer a 6 inch lift, but what else do I have to do to it if I lift it that high. I would prefer something cheaper, but at the same time I want it to look awesome so I am willing to save my money for it. Also, how big of tires should I get and is there a specific kind you recommend?
Thanks in advance -Brandon

Long arms for ride quality. Doesn't matter what brand you get, anyone on here will agree that long arms offer superior ride. LA kits typically come in 4.5" of lift and up. You could fit 31's without having to trim and have an exceptionally capable vehicle. As for brand, it's opinions. Find something that will work for you and your style of driving and wheeling, and what's in your price range.
31s?
At 6"s of lift you should be on 35's at least.
Goodyear, BFG, any of the big names are good.
Here, this is a pretty nice little article.
