Go with 3.5 its easy to move up from there with just shackles and a spacer

We didn't use a ratchet strap but we managed to get it installed I just hate that the front in is about 1.5'' to the left now. Makes the truck look so dis proportioned.

I'd redrill the hole, buy a relocation bracket or pony up the money for a new trackbar.

What's the best way to hold a leaf pack together so I can put in a new center pin for a set if shims?

C Clamp as close to the center pin as possible while still allowing enough room to install the shim

So install the leaf pack, clamp it, drop axle a little bit, new center pin and shim, but back together?

stock is 5/16".
yours will depend on the leaf springs you got

I drilled mine out to 7/16" but it was a PITA drilling spring steel.

Grab a couple black oxide socket cap bolts to use as centering pins

Just as another data point, I had to drill mine for 3/8" for RE leafs.

I finally got my jeep lifted and new tires put on. I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4.0 with a new 3" lift and went from my old tires (P235/70 R 15) to my new tires (31x10.5 R 15). Who can tell me how many teeth do I need for a new speedometer gear so that my speedometer is reading correctly?
