My Jeep is TOUGH!
I was driving down a dirt/gravel road at 5 this morning heading home from my cabin and i went around a sharp corner around 25MPH and drifted one way, over corrected, drifted the other way and went off the bank. About a 15 foot STEEP drop, and right in front of someone's campsite. Jeep just went straight down. No damage done at all to the people with me or the jeep, and just drove it through their campsite and went home.
Badass jeep to survive that ****!!!

Wheel spacers are not a problem. Poorly designed wheel spacers are a problem. There are youtube videos that explain the difference.

I have a few questions.
1.)Currently I have 235/70R15 Yokohamas that are dry rotted that came with the Jeep that I've had a week. I work at a tire shop where a deal is coming up for Black Friday later on this month where I can get Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 and a lifetime alignment for $300.17. I've had success with these tires, but are they good for the XJ?
2.) What would be a really nice low priced lift to get the XJ up about 2-3"? I was looking into Rough Country, but after the problems some of y'all have had I have started to reconsider.
3.) If I lift, should I do 31s? I think they would look really nice and the price for the sale would go up some but not too much.

Rough country or Rustys will get you by. I ran a Rustys 3" kit on my old rig and I was pretty happy with it. My current rig had a 3" RC lift on it when I first bought it and I HATED it. I am not on 4.5" RE lift and couldnt be happier. As far as the tires I havent heard anything about em...for the price id say you cant go wrong...
As far as size...with 3 inches definitely go 31s.

These are the spacers i was looking at http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_wheel_spacers.html
Whats your opinion on them? Yhet seemed well designed to me, but then again ive never held a spacer let alone used one. If its not a good set can you suggest a good set
