My last xj had a 3" rc i didn't have any problems with it. Waiting for my zone lift to come in right now, next week I can tell you how it rides. Over all from my research if you can afford Rubicon Express, then go with Rubicon Express.

Like jakeXJ. i am also on my first XJ rig. I bought it about a week ago tomorow after my 81 dodge ram charger was stolen. I was also considerin the RC 3' lift. DUe to me being on a budget (a very small one) but How much of a price difference is Rustys is to RC? and 300 for all four tires huh? I seriously need new tires and i was gonna go with some BFGs. or some Big O cheapies.(my back driverside is balder then an bays butt) any ideas on a cheap yet decent lift? SOmething i dont have to fab too much. I work at a Body repair shop so i have access to most tools out on the market and my landlord has almost every tool known to man in his garage. Any suggestions. my budget is only about 300 dollars a month towards my XJ. It is my daily driver.

well if I ever go bigger this is my plan, http://zoneoffroad.com/product?ki=35&gr=-1.
Now ive choose the aal since my leafs now are 3" so the shackles would put me at 4.5'' , and i just wouldnt use the aal. What do you guys think?

You'll be fine with stock arms on 3"s.

Thank you. I know RC isnt really the best. But until i have more money its practically my only option and i have been hearing some bad stuff about Rustys.I not Bagin on Rusty or his companys products but I might end up putting together a kind of bastardized XJ from several different brands.

You can bash Rusty here. His springs are good, but his other components have a history of breaking. I've also had bad experiences with him on the phone, and I've heard a lot of customer service complaints about him.

why pay for them? when you order call up and tell them you dont want them. i did that with my IRO lift. told them full leafs, no breakline relocation brackets, and no TC drop
the guy changed it all for me.

I'll keep that in mind. This was just a thought I had last night. Since I want to go bigger at some point.
