Which Lift
Posted in the Zone lift thread but.. probably get a better response here:
I'm trying to decide between the 2" or 3" AAL kit.. I'm currently running 235/ tires and don't plan in going much bigger maybe 30's next time but I don't want to compromise fuel economy. My xj is all stock with over 200k miles on it. I don't notice any rear spring sag if any thing the back is a little higher than the front.. The main reason I'm considering the 3" is because of the new coils... And id like to eventually get a beefier front/bumper... Maybe even a winch someday.. Otherwise i think 2" would be fine. Would the 3" look funny with my 235's? They are virtually brand new so I won't be replacing them anytime soon. Your opinions would be appreciated! Thanks Carlos

lol at firestone complete auto care in concord CA. I might go back and get the Wrangler MTs for 300 for all. they are used but they have a solid amount of rubber left. too bad they become slicks in mud cuz i really only go mud bogging and around town. ahaha people give me dirty looks cuz my mud chunks are being flung up into their back windsheild on the highway.

477 a tire. I am gonna pick up my wrangler MTs from big o for 300 for a set. once i fix my job situation and my unemployment comes in., and i have to fix my melted piston rings. but that should be easy. all i have to do is pull the pan. and the head. and unbolt the pistons and push em out the top. I dont even have to pull the block. it will set me back maybe 120 for all the materials so im happy its cheap(ish)

Destination M/Ts are not $477ea. Anywhere. I run them, a used set from 96xjclassic's rig, with Dukie's old spare, and all three of us love the tires.

Thinking about getting a re 3.5 super ride with re shocks (good price on bundle deal from aor)
Also plan on getting a adj Trac bar.
And maybe steering stabilizer.
Is there anything else I would need for a solid lift done right? (besides sye or tcase drop)
Is steering stabilizer necessary?
1999 stock xj up country (for now) doing mainly street driving and intent to do some mild trail riding/offroading, but no rock climbing and nothing crazy

What I am looking for to see that its pulled over to the drivers side?
Is it the pic of the driver side shock? And the bumpstop? being at an angle?
Can someone repost the picture of my jeep that you can tell that its wrong and have an arrow pointing at it or something. Maybe I can get a better idea that way.
