What year wrangler are they from? You jeep is 5x4.5 bolt pattern so if the wheels are 09 and older they'll fit, but the 2010, 11 and 12 have 5x5 bolt pattern.

No Wrangler ever had 18s except maybe some JKs. Assuming they're factory, they're from a JK. If so, you would need adapters. And tires would be far more expensive than what you use now.

Just typed in on ebay...Jeep Wrangler 18" wheels...and found these http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Jeep-Wrang...de1270&vxp=mtr...assuming from his description these are the wheels he is talking about...and as i stated above and as it says in the add they are 5x5 and will not work on his jeep. Unless, like you said, he gets spacers.

Wrangler wheels up to and including '06 fit XJs. JKs started their run in '07 with a wider bolt pattern. My first comment was confirming and expounding on what you said, but then I realized your years listed were wrong. It's just information; nothing personal.

I am new to the jeep world and had a few questions as I am eager to learn I purchased a 1991 jeep cherokee xj 4.0 2dr automatic the previous owner says it has a 4 inch lift and it has 33" toyo mts I was messing around the other day and broke the rear drive shaft at the rear yoke Im guessing just the stock one didnt look to beefy. So here are a few questions i had what do i need to beef up in the drive train to turn those tires lower gear ratio? But it is my daily driver so I would like to be able to hold freeway speeds and also the tranny shifts smooth do i need to worry about it wearing real fast or slipping with the tire size?

Default XJ 2.5" OME Leaf Springs

I just bought a pair of these. I also have 2" poly spacers sitting around for the front. Is it a bad idea to stack poly spacers (I could run these on top -
Amazon.com: Jeep XJ TJ ZJ Red Polyurethane 5/8" Spacer or Coil Spring Isolator PAIR: Automotive Amazon.com: Jeep XJ TJ ZJ Red Polyurethane 5/8" Spacer or Coil Spring Isolator PAIR: Automotive
)?

Can I run 3" poly spacers in the front with everything else stock?

For some reason 2.5" poly spacers are super expensive (the ones I have seen so far anyways).

Thanks

I wouldn't stack spacers. Sounds sketchy, but people may disagree with me. At 3" you need to extend or relocate your front brake lines, replace your shocks, and get an appropriate track bar.

I wouldn't stack as well, you could leave your shocks by getting a shock spacer... Since your doing spacer lift I'm guessing your on a budget..

That said they are probably shot anyway

Idk what route your looking to go with your jeep, but the adapters from 5x4.5 to 5x5 are about $200, plus tires for those 18's are not gonna be too cheap...and do you want to lift your jeep? Are you willing to trim your fenders? knowing that will help with what size tires will be good for you.
