Im stuck between 2 lifts.
1) RE 4.5 super flex short arm lift with twin tube shocks and transfercase drop.
$1300ish
2) RC 4.5 long arm lift. $1450ish
Now id like to know if I would need a Slip Yoke Eliminator and CV driveshaft with these.
And also which is better in your opinion. I dont plan on crazy rocj crawling but ill be doing a wide variety of wheeling. Id like to run 33s, would prolly prefer 35s but i dont want to be spending too much.
And Id prefer to not have to deal with the SYE and the CV.

I have 4.5" lift, need to get a SYE. I have the NP231 w/ ax-15. I want to use a front drive shaft, and don't want to hack n'tap. What sye is reccomended for this?

The xfer case drop in this kit consists of 4 bolts and 4 spacers. About $5 worth of parts from the hardware store. I refused to use it. Dropping the xfer case makes NO sense to me.

On sure you know, but for clarity: TC drop lowers the TC to correct for the change in the driveshafts' angles. It's a cheap bandaid fix for when an SYE should be used. The problem is a TC drop just moves the problem from the driveshafts to the motor mounts. It also takes away ground clearance that you just gained from lifting.

Can you even get a CV without and SYE, or the other way? I guess you could since they're different things, but all the ones I've seen for sell are always together.
