thats a touchy question. some say no it will only mask the problem of worn steering components and some say yes it'll help alot.

i say if your steering components are set up properly and are not overly worn then you shouldn't need one.

i'd save the money and get full leaf packs instead of the AAL. or just get a 2" shackle if your leaf springs are not worn out to bad.

HD should be stock height with stiffer spring rate. UpCountry would be +1", and I think OME makes a 2".

Anyone know what length the two sizes of jks quick disconnects are? They list one for 0-3" lift and 4-6" lift. I found some on CL for cheap. He doesn't know which one they are but in his pic there's a tape measure next to it. The threads look maxed out and it measure about 11".

I looked in JKS site. Nothing. Googled and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to figure out what to do for a lift on my 1993 XJ

Still deciding on 3.5" vs 4.5" lifts

I don't really want the expense of new driveshafts and slip yokes right now so I'm guessing the 3.5 is a better option for me.

The kicker is this.

This is my Hunting buggy build, I'm either gonna run a 31x10.50x15 or 235/85r16. And I NEED to have clearance for tire chains on all 4 tires.

i won't be flexing it when the tire chains are on but will be busting trail on snowed in roads.

Also, trying to decide between Zone lift and Rubicon Express in these lift ranges!!

Appreciate any help

Will be lots of room for chains on 3.5" lift and 31" tires. If you can afford Rubicon, go for it. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Zone lift, esp if its just a hunting rig.

Nice. I'll probably buy them either way. My DD will be getting a lift next year.
