Hi all,
Just bought a 96 Cherokee Country.
The seller had 31" Bf all terrains on it with no lift. Needless to say offroading is not an option because of clearance between tires and fender wells. I also get some grinding on fender flares when going over big bumps and stopping short. pretty silly.
So what can i do?
do i need a lift? and if so i want as little modification as possible, as far as drive shaft, t-case and other mechanical changes.
Just looking for the most basic lift that would get me the clearance i need
Will removing fender flares give me a temp fix? or maybe trimming them?
i like the look of them but obviously function is priority.
thanks for the help in advance

But a 2" inch will run about $100 and you will be all set no other modification will be necessary
2 inch suspension lift?
was looking at rough country? any recommendations?
after looking at some other threads im thinking 3".
Never did a lift before. Beside installing the kit, will any other mods need tobe done?

Go 3 inch and be happy with it. What's your budget?
budget-----LOW.
lol
not going to be doing any serious off roading or trail running. need for
occasional hunting trips and snow.
so with that said, i need something affordable

EBay 2inch spacer front 2inch shackles rear, you can keep your stock shocks and then you"ll have a ton of room

Get a 2" budget boost and you'll be Fine. That's what I'm running with 31s and all I do is rub at full lock But if you're on different rims with some backspacing You won't even do that. The budget boost is easy as hell to put on too

I have a 2'' bb I still need to install. I was lucky enough to pick up a brand spanking new set of old style 33 10.5 bfg mts on d-windows for 500$
I guess my question is will they clear with the 2'' bb? I do already have my bumper plastic and fender flares removed. Oh yeah its a 99 4d
