Great looking XJ. How wide are your wheels and how much back space? Just the look I want. Tires don't stick out too much. Looks Great. Did you have to do any cutting? I have the lift with the same dif's, but I"m looking for the right wheel and tire combo. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks Frank

to fit the 8.8 you have to get leaf spring and shock mounts. Ruff stuff makes a simple swap kit that you can use. That is the very minimum that you can do. It is also a shorter axle than the stock one so you will need spacers or something else to get it in there

Speaking of tires, I really need some new ones, I bought my XJ with just Michelin street tires and can't wait to get rid of them. Where is a good place to get the best price on some A/T's?

New to the lifting world
Hey all,
I just bought my first lift and if all goes well, i will be lifting again!! but first things first.
The lift I bought is the Rubicon Express 3.5" Super-Ride w/ Full Leafs
http://www.4wheelparts.com/prodDetai...no=R%2fERE6025
Since there were no shocks with the kit, I then bought some Rancho RS5000 shocks:
http://www.4wheelparts.com/productli...L6+242+CID+GAS
From what this lift / shock combo offers can someone give me advice on any other parts, control arms, etc that should be purchased as well to ensure proper function. Thank you in advance as this is new to me!

iv had my 97 xj for about two years now but am fairly cluless when it comes to knowing anything about cars.. my question is, i know i have a 2 inch procomp explorer list on it and am looking to increase the lift with spacers, whats my best bet, it has 31 inch tires on it now but im hoping to be able to fit 33's after the spacer lift?
any comments will help, thanks
