With a 3" lift would I have to do anything with the track bar? I have heard of people redrilling the mounting hole in the bracket but really dont want to do that. Can you buy a different bracket with the hole in the correct position or is an adjustable bar the only option.

BDS makes a track bar relocation bracket but I think it might be weld on. Can't remember.

Id say just get a new adjustable track bar.

at 3" the new redrilled hole will be too close to the old one to be safe, and it's a crappy fix anyways. Get a new stronger adjustable (double shear preferred), and be done with it.

I have a control arm question. I am going from 3.5 inches to 4.5 inches of lift. I have longer fixed lower control arms. I was looking on iron rock off roads site and saw upper control arms as well as lowers good for higher lifts. If i get loner upper and lower control arms is anything else needed? I have a longer track bar, brake lines and shocks as well; including t case drop.

With longer upper arms is anything else needed?

Hmm. Okay, since I'm about this same place too: with the weight of a winch (and Warn brush guard w/winch mount) up front, does the "gonna be stiff" also hold true? Wouldn't that weight tend to take some of the bite out of stiff springs?

(Especially as I'm thinking that 1 inch is about where I want to be with the new HD leaf packs in the rear. I mean, granted I ever get the damn things installed.)

At 4.5" Adjustable uppers arent necessarily needed however if you've got the money to spend on them it would be better to have them.

Thanks, I am going to have to wait until the build is a little further along before I decide if I will actually get the adjustable uppers. Just wanting to see if it was needed. Thanks!
