8 inches is too tall, unless your doing nothing but mud bogs...

Sell that rough country crap, buy something better in a 6 inch flavor, trim your fenders and run 35s...

Its not going to be cheap, lots of costs associated with bigger lifts and tires..

Thank you.
OME has some of the smoothest riding springsand coils, right?

Pretty much, their leafs are excellent, for coils.. id say rustys has the best riding coils..they are super soft, 150lb spring rate. OME shocks are good though.

Rusty's, huh? I think that's the first positive thing I've heard about them.

I like rustys.. not more than I do OME, or RE, or any of the other quality companies..Ive met rusty himself, ran a couple different lifts from them, and seen a lot of their new stuff in person.. They are improving for sure.

Coils, ive never felt softer coils than rustys. I believe they give you the option of 150 or 180lb spring rate.

Ok, let me get your opinion on which would be better. I'm planning on 4.5". I'm also planning on a dirtbound offroad winch bumper with winch. Should I run low spring rate Rustys 4.5" coils or RE 4.5" coils.

From peoples experience, the only place to buy OME kits from is DPGOffroad. Customer service is great and they also do OME "hybrid" kits for higher lifts.

Call and talk to Dirk. He'll customize your order any way you like.

We pulled the trigger on Rubicon Express' Superflex 3.5" XJ kit from seriousoffroadproducts.com. I always forget to take before & afters, so my wife is going to stay on top of it. Daughter & I haven't decided on wheels & tires yet. We have time. It's just sitting in the drive collecting snow these days anyway.

Default 1996 cherokee -- bare minimum (for now)

I want to use the original aluminum wheels with the largest tire I can put on them and what ever the smallest lift i can to accomodate them... any suggestions?
