I'm getting a slip yoke eliminator from PORC and I'm hearing that using a stock front drive shaft from an xj can be easily overextended. Are there any other compatible drive shafts from other vehicles that would work?

I'm running around 4.5-5 in the back

Not sure who you're hearing that from, but most here will tell you to use a front DS.

This. Cheap to replace if it breaks, too.

Don't worry about it. At 2", just springs or spacers/shackles. You should replace shocks, but you can use stock ones on-road for a while.
