Fixed? If the arms are for a 4.5" lift then its going to push your axle forward a little. Not much though.

Anybody know how much more articulation clearance TJ fender flares would give you on a Cherokee? I'm thinking of doing something like this; but only if it will increase my upward clearance.

Jus font use flares. It depends on how much you trim.

Looks like his fenders are trimmed about as much as mine, then the flares were stuck on. That's one sweet looking XJ though.

I want to clear 33" tires on my 3" lift but still want flares and am not ready to dole out a lot of $$$ for some aftermarket XJ flares.

I though about that but don't like the way they don't extend all the way down.

You don't have a lot of options with 3" and 33's.

Do they increase your upward clearance?

Yeah, I looked at those but in reading the installation manual it doesn't appear that they increase upward clearance which is what I'm looking to get. I really like the look and price of those flares though.

May I ask why you're so concerned with vertical clearance? I think I'd rather have more droop than tuck. Too much tuck and you'll bottom out your shocks. Only need a little bit of tuck.
