There won't be noticeable ride differences between the two kits. The super flex is more expensive because of joints. Capability? Yeah sure the super flex kit will be "better"... Good shocks will determine ride quality

Control arm and shackle angles will make a bigger difference than shocks. My 4.5" still rides like a dump truck even with Bilsteins on it. My shackle angle is awful and I don't have drop brackets.

True, but you don't need drop brackets at 4.5".

No not at all! I never meant to make it seem like you did, sorry if it sounded like that. If you want a real smooth ride at 4.5" you need the drop brackets. Mine isn't unbearable, it just sucks when you hit a pothole or large bump.

Edit: I also have RC x flex arms and they are **** from the get go so that doesn't help my situation any either. I'm sure the RE arms are way nicer.

Question about SYE. When installing the SYE, is it completely necessary to remove the front DS and yoke? My reason is that one of my bolts on the front DS is completely rounded and I'm at my wits end with it. I have a PORC HD slip yoke eliminator.

Dammmmmmmmmmitt. Tips for welding a nut onto the rounded head? I'm a total newb at welding

I'm a welder for a living so I may be able to assist lol find a nut that just barely fits over the rounded head. Slide it on till there is about a 1/16 of an inch left till they are flush. Fill the inside of the nut/top of the bolt with weld, but don't go overboard on your heat or wire speed. You just want to stick them together, not warp anything.

I have super ride, and can unseat the coils, super flex isn't worth the extra coin IMHO.

My understanding is the SF is designed to hold up to that more often and for longer, as opposed to the bushings in the SR setup.

Didn't think of it that way, I'm not sure what the price difference is, may be worth it if its not much.

From what I've seen the SF is about $180 more, which doesn't sound like a hole lot but after adding everything i wanted together it was higher than I wanted to pay. So I was to see if I could cut coast with out cutting quality, or capabilities to much.

When you get ready to buy, check out seriousoffroadproducts.com, they have great prices on rubicon express stuff. If you are going to wheel the jeep alot, get the super flex, if its mainly a dd go super ride.
