It's not your stabilizer, all a stabilizer will do is dampen what is already there. Something is out of whack with your steering/tires and that is the cause for the wobble. A new stabilizer or dual stabilizers will help hide it, but thats mostly just a bandaid. Give it a while and the wobble those stabilizers will be fighting will wear them out and you'll be right back where you started.

If you're getting wobble, check the angle between your track bar and drag link. If they aren't parallel (from mounting points to mounting points), fix them. If that's good, you have a loose bolt (likely track bar) or a bad bushing (likely LCA).

Your steering stabilizer is certainly the problem.

Please provide more details.

I should have added that everything is brand new, the wheels tires and lift and professionally installed and that it only has a slight wobble or more of a jerk when you hit the slightest bump, which is about every 10 feet in this area, it's not bad but I think I can make it better

the only thing mentioned that might be possible is a bushing, that was supposed to be check during install

Did your lift include new control arms?

I'd check all the control arm bushings and steering alignment.

control arms are new and alignment was done, going to another shop to get alignment double checked this weekend by a very reputable shop this weekend, odds are they will find the problem.

They might if it's an offroad shop. Like I said, check your track bar and drag link to ensure that both bars (from mounting point to mounting point) are parallel.

If they aren't, which I suspect, you will get something called bump steer.

Default HELP!!

I am looking to use my tax return for a lift, wheels, and tires. I was around 4.5" of lift, and was looking at Rough Country. But then I heard great things about Rusty's. I also have people telling me to get IRO. I have no idea what to get and thought I'd ask the more experienced people on here.

Besides lift, I am looking at 15x8 Cragar Soft 8's with 3.75-4" backspacing and 31x10.50R15 General Grabber AT2's or BFG AT T/A KO's at 31 or 32. Depends on how much I get back.

Any suggestions or advice? Looking to do something before 3/22/13.

I like IRO, but I usually recommend Zone for a budget lift. I do not recommend Rough Country (sub-par parts) or Rusty's (Rusty is an *******).

I like GG AT2s, And I'm not a fan of BFG A/Ts. They have very weak sidewalls, and they do poorly in mud (where I spend a lot of time).

Or trim fenders and run 34s or 35s.

I'd be running 37s at 4.5, but most people don't wanna cut as much sheet metal as I would.

Ok. So i'm getting that I should definately stay away from RC and Rusty's, and to keep in my budget, Zone Offroad would be good, and that I have a good tire, rim combo, but might want to go a little bigger on the tires?

Yes, go with a good tire on a 15x8" wide rim. With the back spacing you mentioned.
