This is great! you guys have helped out so much. You have no idea how long I searched the internet for those control arm specs. i could only find them for xj. thank you so much, I was thrilled to see them listed. Ta2tony, I can't get a picture of the angle on the coil unless i'm really behind the wheel. it just won't show the curve. I think all measurements considered, and correct me if I'm wrong. The drop brackets are designed for use with stock control arms. the ones we have are actually about half an inch longer. I don't know why it was set up that way. It's how we bought it. right now it pulls the axle back, but I think once we remove the current spacers and put the 3 inch ones on it will actually level out to the specifications listed above. I don't know. trial and error I guess. My fiance is kind of explaining this as we go, although I had basic knowlege of this from working at a parts store for many years I had no idea it could get this complicated once lifts are involved. Learning a lot! thank you guys.

Yup, it's all geometry. Every time you lift you affect something. The trick is to figure out how for you can go with the parts you have. Good Luck!

So I have a 4.5 inch rough country short arm lift I just got 33x12.5 Baja claws and it looks like I won't be able to flex much. Can a small body lift fix this?? If so how big of a body lift and what should I look for if I wanna just peice it together and not buy a whole kit

There's no such thing as a body lift kit. Trim your fenders and bumpstop.

You can't body lift an xj, trim the fenders and you will have plenty of room. You could use a coil spacer and shackle, but you may need other stuff if you add more lift.

So take the flares off cut it up and do I take the wells out? I heard someone talk about that somewhere

The rear has a bunch of pinch spot welds in it and you can't cut them lol...

Like they said, trim the fenders. Here's mine with only 3" lift and 33's.

Its a 96, C8.25 rear axle, HP front.

I have a 98 Cherokee. The previous owner put 2 inch lift blocks in the rear and hockey pucks in the front. The rear springs are sagging badly so I thought I would replace the rear springs with 2 1/2 inch lift leafs. I ordered the pro comp 53111 springs and plan to put them on tomorrow. Today I read those will give a Cherokee 4 inches of lift. Has anyone used these and what were your results. Thanks.
