Would you recommend a magnaflow muffler over a flowmaster muffler?

Only if you prefer the tone. Some people like the smooth tone, others like the raw crackly popping sounds. Like this guy!

I bought the magnaflow 2.5" +tailpipe from mudfrog. Its has a nice throaty drone. I think the 2.5" exhaust coupled with my cold air intake help my throttle response notably. I didn't want a load drony exhaust as my rig sees highway miles and I don't want my neighbors to hate me. You can hear a little magnaflow drone over stock, but in imagine the flowmaster will have more, ESP. On the hwy

Considering that I have pipe all the way to the front passenger seat a little drone will be just fine Cherry bombs are horrible droners btw

IT does but I think it was it called for. Plus the stock muffler was huge vs. The fm

I prefer a Magnaflow on a V8.. but I run a Flowmaster 40 on my Jeep and absolutely freakin' love it.

Also The total length of the old muffler is 21 inches.. so when I cut the old pipe off my FM I just cut the whole thing to 21 inches and it welded perfectly.
