I got the original spin techs on my 66 gt with an x pipe. Got em 9 years ago. Still sound fn amazing. Everyone always asks me what mufflers I have. I think they would be the 3000s

I've got the 9000 with a 2.5" tailpipe, everything else is stock. Look up WNY 4x4 Club on facebook and look for the videos of my red XJ. All those videos were taken on phones so the sound quality isn't that great. I'll try to get a good one posted soon, my jeep is unavailable atm.

So quick question about the infamous 4.0 header crack...
Can driving with a cracked header cause any adverse effects to the engine? I know there is a balance of pressures and air concentration sensing going on in the system, but will that damage any internal parts? I've known Jeeps to be driven for many years with a cracked header with no problems but I can't help but think it would affect engine life somehow.
Thanks for any input in advance.

No, but I've noticed I don't get so tired while driving with my new header on there

I've never had a flowmaster or magnaflow, so I can't offer a firsthand opinion on them. But I've got friends that have them and they're a good quality product. As for my spintech, I love it and will never get another muffler on my Jeep. But it's constructed so we'll, I doubt I'll have to. It's got a nice rumble at idle, a good roar ( for a I6 lol), and no drone. At least not louder than my tires. You get them custom made for your application from pipe size to placement and offset of the exit pipe. And the construction is impressively strong. They reccomend the 6000 for Jeeps, but I got the 9000. I've got videos on my clubs facebook page if you want to hear it but the sound quality does NOT do it justice. It's a good deep sound.

Hey guys,

I'm replacing my exhaust right from the donut back this weekend. I was wondering if the old donut manifold bolts / o2 sensor are usually are stubborn? Anyone got some tips?

Thanks

Not sure if its been covered or not but what size is the front pipe off the manifold? I know the cat and all after are 2.25" but I was wondering if the front is the same cuz I'm looking for a header and want to know if ones with a 2.25" collector will bolt right to the stock piping.
Thanks

I keep getting the P0420 code and the u2 sensors have been replaced. I'm pretty sure it only throws the code at idle because both times it lights up I am idling.

Other than the o2 sensors, there isn't much else to throw this code other than a bad converter is there?
