You may want to look into the APN header. All stainless steel for about $150. Search it and you'll find many have made the change. This winter I'll be putting one on my dad's cherokee, along with a 99+ intake.
I'll look into it. I may just pull the y-pipe clean it up and re-install. I really don't want to delete pre-cats and jack around with CEL's.

I don't see the APN that fits my model. What about this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2006-JE...06%26rk%3D1%26

Anyone know if this one is good ^?

I'm thinking about it. Still looking into the y-pipe where the 2 pre-cats are. That looks like a major PITA to get off.

Hey guys I'm looking at buying a new muffler very soon, I have a new stock cat, and stock tail pipe. I'm not looking for anyhthing too loud. Is the Flowmaster 40 deltaflow a good muffler for a daily driver? Like does it add a bit of aggressive sound? The main thing I'm worrie about is noise inside the Jeep, I still wanna be able to hold a conversation as well as drive on the highway without driving myself nuts. Thanks a ton in advance guys, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Also will it effect my mpg?

Did it affect your mpg at all? And it isnt too loud for the highway, or just crusing?

I believe the 44 is quieter. A nice rumble at idle and people can here you drive by with it on.

I don't want too quiet. I have no problem as long as it doesn't drone out the inside and I can still highway drive. And don't lose mpg

Forgive me if I passed over this information but I was wondering where you guys have bought a new downpipe? (piece between the end of the header and the cat)
I dont want to spend an arm and a leg..maybe less than 60?
Any recommendations would be great.
