Probably. The lower the quality/crappier the refining, The higher the sulfer content.

Hey everybody I have a quick question about cats. I did some searching but didn't really find what I was looking for or read anything definitive. First off its a 2000 4.0 with about 105k miles. Sort of rough idle and only around 12 mpg stock could a cat be a problem? Is there any way to tell if they're good? Thanks

O2 sensor would be my guess but if you're getting that low of mileage then you got more than one problem. Is your check engine light on?

I checked the sensors about 10k miles ago and they looked good. I have no cel but a code for the cam sensor comes on for like a day then goes away for a few weeks. Is it dying on me? It's been like this for a while but hasn't gotten worse

The CPS (Cam sensor) is located (if you have a distributer) inside the distributer. If you don't have a distributer and have Coil packs, the sensor is where the distributer should be. The CPS controlls injector pulse (opening and closing of injectors). If it malfunctions, the injector can either not open fully or "leak" causing it to waste fuel. Also, I'd check the MAP and IAT sensors. All three control the A/F mixture along with the O2.
On another note, when's the last time the fuel filter was changed?

Damn outlaw that's kind of what I've always wanted to hear lmao I kind of thought that maybe my sensors were all running slow by now but had no clue what to look for or where to start and wasn't even sure if my cps sensor even mattered for mpg. I'll check all those sensors out and yes I recently replaced my fuel pump assembly. Sorry for going off topic everyone

Hey everyone,

Has any one got an Exhaust system from performance curve.com. How is the Quality of the tailpipe section. Going to be installing it on a 92 2 door.
Thanks
