I just got the 50. It doesn't sound mean at all. Going back end of week to have it cut out and 40 put in. 50 is just a tad Better than stock IMO.

So not sure if you wanna consider headers under exhaust and muffler but I recently found a nice crack in mine and was curious if anyone tried rusty's flowdaddy headers?

Glass packs are probably louder after they have been broken in. But the sound quality of 10 series better IMO.

He has hooker headers too. Bet that wouldnt sound that way with stock headers, cat, and the 44. If it does, i would buy one today. I have a cheapy gp on mine right now and old cat. Need to replace both. Would like the sound in this vid, but alas, headers are expensive. How close to this would it sound if i go 2.5 hi flo cat w the 44? I would love to hear the lobing of the cam, just not sure if possible wo headers??? I have a 91 w 4.0 HO. Will turn down before rear axle like it is now.

I did a video of my dynomax super turbo when I first put it on, was a little raspy at first. Warning on those. Here in ohio it made it 2 years, had to replace it cause it rusted at the flange. But free repplacement though. I can get a vid for you, but I don't have a high flow cat.

Ok. Here is one. I got the 2.5 inch muffler and tailpipe from mudfrog. My cat has a pipe coming out that is 2.5 but then reduces to 2.25. Would I be ok if I just cut off the reduction and put on the muffler. Or would I have to have a pipe in there to make it the right length?

Your going to need to have a piece of 2.5 from the cat to the muffler. Thats what I would do. Cut the 2.25 piece off. Of course measure the lenght first and buy the right size piece. Then clamp it in or weld it if you can.
