Hey everyone I need your help on making my exhaust sound a bit meaner/louder. I recently just replace my stock exhaust with a flow master 44 muffler and 2 1/2 in tail piping. Did not replace piping to the headers though... that is still stock! It gave it a LITTLE grumble but not what I wanted. What all can I do to make it louder... any suggestions? Would an aftermarket intake create more grumble/loudness?

Thanks,

CW

So I was at the jy last week and saw an xj with dual exhaust (single muffler two outlets) I'm not thinking of doing it, but has anyone else done that? Just curious.

I saw a beautiful navy blue late year 01 xj rocking it with chrome tips. Looked and sounded super clean, more "there" than stock, just not overly grumbly. Its doable, not really worth the effort, but doable.
