On topic though, has anyone here tried those shorty glasspacks? Like those 8" and 12" ones. My generic super 10 just isn't aggressive enough...

I've got a 2000 xj sport nd there's an exhaust leak from near the catalyst converter and the manifold. It looks lose or something but I tried tightening it and it wouldn't budge, I'll post a pic. Anyone can help?

You have a few options here. A, you can cut the bolts out and replace the gasket. B, you can bring it to a shop and have them fix it. C, all new exhaust and get rid of that thing. Just to mention a few.

What do you think would be the cheapest/easiest way of fixing it?

Torch the bolts out, weld new bolts in, replace with a new gasket

Replace the gasket, though it will fail again so I would recommend bringing it to a shop to have the exhaust redone. It looks like you've replaced pipe behind the flange? If that's the case, it might only cost around $50 to have a down pipe bent up.
