Suggested cat back system??
I am sure this question is like asking what your favorite oil is but here goes. I have a 98 XJ 4.0 Automatic completely stock on 235 15's. Runs great and gets between 13 and 20 MPG depending on use and speed. The muffler is rotting out at the seam and I am looking for a good quality cat back exhaust that will be better than the factory system. I am willing to have an increase in sound without the drumming that some systems create at 60 miles an hour as I do some lond distance highway driving. Tryed and tested suggestions please.
Thanks in advance

high flow cat ?
Hi all. I know this subject has probably been done to death but here it goes. I got a 2000 xj and need a high flow cat. Heres the problem: I live in cali and most distributors won't send me one. The vehicle I plan on installing it on is for off road only (lol) so I won't be breaking any laws. My question is what model high flow cat has the proper 02 ports for my application and who will mail it to me? Feel free to pm.

Does anyone have any reviews or thoughts on this exhaust?

I'm about to replace my cat back exhaust on my 98 XJ, I'm looking for a muffler thats a little louder than stock but not so obnoxious that you can hear it from miles away. Not looking to spend a lot on anything fancy, just looking for a little better sound. Any suggestions?

It's all in the guy's preference. Some people just can't handle the FM's raw awesomeness
EDIT: *you're, like 'you are not going to like it'

How much did anyone pay for a 2.5 system made and installed by a shop? I got an estimate of about $300 that's for a manifold installed (but not purchased) but everything else is made/purchased and installed.

I was thinking of removing my cat and cashing it in (before some douchebag does it for me) on my XJ and running a straight 2&1/2 in. pipe all the way back, will there be any performance repercussions and will it be loud? I was planning on reinstalling the O2 sensor and maybe throwing in some kind of muffler.
