I've heard it's out of stock? I'm not really sure myself. If not shop around for the Pacesetter. I found it for less than $200. If you go with that though, be ready to sandblast all of the paint off, it's regular paint and will burn off. And weld the couplings, they don't match up 100%, they're a hair cockeyed. And some people have had them crack too, so put a flex joint in there too.
EDIT: BTW, if you go straight piped, put 2.5" pipe on it, and the $65 cat from my above post on there along with a 4"x18" tip. That thing will SCREAM!

I'm looking to perform a nice exhaust set up as my recently purchased XJ it's just too darn quiet. I'm use to a loud Subaru so I'd like some "tuned" noise.
So my question is: what do you folks consider the best route for a header? I really like the Banks Revolver but it's pretty pricey. What about the APN header? It looks pretty nice and cost about what I was thinking of paying? Anything else.

Ha, touche sir. I guess what I meant by "tuned" was smooth.
I'm 98% certain that I'll run a Vibrant muffler. I've never really been a fan of Magnaflow and Flowmasters are, well, kind of cruddy.
My real debate is in regards to header. Would you say the APN is better than the Banks?

The APN is made out of really heavy gauge steel, idk about banks. APN cost $10 more than an OEM replacement though so I'd go with that.
Spintech 9000s have a smooth tone too btw, and they're very compact.

Can I bolt this on with a stock Cat, do they sell pipes that start at 2.25 and go to 2.5?

I have performance curve's version and it sounds pretty good. My apartment manager really likes it. I get the loud bark, and the cops get their lack of 'sharp clacking and popping'... Lol best of the legal side I guess. It drones like hell though, I might just throw a glasspack in its place for how bad it drones.
I thought they looked similar... I know the APNs are 321 stainless, but I'm not too up on metallurgy
