What would it take to run the stock exhaust system (just the pipe, actually... I'll have a header, a new muffler, and a new cat, if I go through with this), but replace the catalytic converter with this http://performance-curve.com/225thun...ter415225.aspx and the muffler with this http://amzn.com/B0018GSVG0?
I want to hook it up to the stock tailpipe, too.
I know I'll need adapters, as the stock system is 2.25" and the muffler is 2.5"... But if someone could link me to *all* of the adapters I need for *all* of it, that'd be great.
I know it's a lot to ask, but I just want to get things done correctly and easily the first time.
It's kind of sad that I'm sure I can do all of this work, but can't even figure out the measurements of the parts I need (don't know what needs to have a certain OD and what needs to have a certain ID)... I've spent forever searching on here, but I'm just not totally sure.
Also, for those who suggest going to a simpler muffler size so there are less adapters, I've listened to tons of mufflers, but this one is the only one that sounds perfect to me, so I want to use it.

It sounded pretty loud to me, but that's not what I liked... I liked that it was snarky, but not droning or "puffy" ahah... That seems difficult to achieve, on the 4.0, but this muffler seems to do it well.
Hmm... What would it take to go to 2.5", starting at the cat? Could anyone link me to the parts I'd need?
I suppose I'd use this cat http://performance-curve.com/25thund...ter415250.aspx and the same muffler I posted earlier (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0018G...f_=cm_sw_su_dp).
If I just did 2.5" from there back, I guess it wouldn't be that bad, money-wise and time-wise... It'd just be some adapters, some clamps and a 2.5" tailpipe.
*I can't afford a full 2.5" exhaust, but I'd be willing to do 2.5" from the (2.5") cat back... But can anyone link me to ALL the parts I'd need if I used the muffler and cat I linked?* A link to the stuff I'd need to keep it at 2.25" wouldn't hurt either... I guess the price wouldn't change much, but I wouldn't mind seeing it.
I'd like to order them all soon... I need to burn all my money on my XJ before I burn it elsewhere. =P
I know I sound like a lazy guy begging people to do his work for him... I'm not lazy, just ****ing clueless! =P

What do you all think of a true dual exhaust using a pacesetter 70-1190 header with dual 2.25" pipes coming out the header and running back to 2 cats and 2 turbo thrush mufflers? From what i've read on the previous threads I can just run an upstream O2 sensor to one of the pipes and be done.

Really not worth it huh? I was thinking of just the 2.5" all the way back. I could do a nicer muffler I just was trying to keep the cost down of doing it all.

Its going in a stroker, if that makes any difference. But it doesn't seem like splitting it after the muffler would make a big difference as far as I know.
