I have Kumho all terrain 31x10.50's on 15x8 ion alloy polished wheels, & I keep tire pressure at 30 psi, & I have stock gears in it. I just keep it well maintained, & I run synthetic blend oil with a bottle of Lucas oil also. I love that stuff! No b/s

I'm looking to do a flat belly and live in the wonderful state of california. I'm looking to see if there is a smaller cat that is smog legal that will fit above the skid. I have a 97 4.0l. The cat i have now is about 5.5" thick. I'm looking for something closer to 4". Ive done some searching but have not been about to find anything for a 97.

My thunderbolt cat is 4" round x 11" long total length. Part# 410250 on performance-curve (mudfrog on here ). It was about 40 dollars but you will need to add a bung

Just one problem with that...

Thunderbolt cat's are designed to give high performance in limited spaces. This high flow converter features a ceramic brick with 400 holes per square inch. This 100% OBDII EPA legal catalytic converter is designed for engine's up to 5.9L / 6000 lbs. (Not for use in California)

Default Cherry Bomb?!

Ive gotten mixed answers and the best way to pick a Cherry Bomb Glasspack , so far it seems like I need the 2 1/4 outlet and inlet but angled or straight? also any particular length work best?

On stock pipe angled is the way to go. Measure from the inlet to the outlet on your muffler

I just bought a 1994 xj and it has a cracked exhaust manifold, I am looking to put a new header on it. I am thinking about getting this pacesetter header because it is the cheapest and has pretty good reviews.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/psm-70-1192

What do you guys think about this header? I am on a college student budget so I cant afford anything expensive.

Better yet, While I am doing the header I might as well do the full exhaust. What is a good set up for the xj. Header, 2.5 exhaust with a flowmaster or what?
I am completely new to this.
