I'm sure everyone has their opinion but I want to hear it. I have a '01 4.0. Mostly stock...at the moment. Looking for best bang for your buck exhaust mods.
I have an Airaid intake, so I was looking for a good set of headers, and cat back system.
My previous XJ I had a Random Tech cat and Borla muffler and really liked it.
I'd this to be somewhat budget friendly as well. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.
Also I'm in Arizona so I was considering wrapping the headers to contain the heat. I don't deal with much water or salt so I wouldn't be worried about them rusting out. Thanks.

For cheap mufflers, check out performance-curve.com. There's some generic chambered mufflers and another line of cheap magnaflow-like mufflers. I have a thrush welded muffler ($30 on amazon) and really like it, though it drones like hell in town.

I noticed a bunch of people have used the Thunderbolt Catalytic Converter, does anyone have personal experience with this? Is it decent? I have learned that cheaper isn't always better

With the horseshoe intake, you'll need to file a little bit off of runner #6 if I remember from others. Yes, it is one hell of an upgrade. It's 321 stainless and thick tubing on top of it.

06 GC exhaust upgrade HELP
I'm curious as I'm upgrading the exhaust on my 06 GC 5.7 hemi, if anyone knows if an X-pipe from a 06 SRT8 will fit??? By eye it looks close but...
Someone has one for me but need to be sure and having a hard time getting any definite answer

I have a stock 94 country, thinking about some upgrades, maybe a CAI as well as exhaust. I also own a 96 mustang cobra...thus the name...I'm a little weary of flowmasters on a jeep, wouldn't that be a little ricey sounding? I'm looking for a deep sound, hell, stock exhaust idle note sounds pretty good to me now. What do ya'll think?
