I can say that a stock muffler and no cat sounds like crap...I just picked up a new to me Xj set up this way. I will be going to the muffler shop today.

I think the 9000 would be too much. Almost no muffling. They recommend 6000 for our jeeps. About as loud as a 2 chamber flow. I'm gonna become a vender lol. They are freakin stout too. You can drive over em. I got the originals on my mustang. I couldn't believe how freakin stout they are or how amazing they sound.

Check out the website. The 9000 is very loud. Not a lot of muffling. http://www.spintechmufflers.com/muff...es/cat_22.html I'm definitely going for the 3000 or 6000 (probably 6000) but I'm gettin old. The 9000 will be very loud like the super 10. Flows much better then a flowmaster too. They scavenge really well.
I listened to the 9000, but they didn't have a great video. I couldn't tell what it would sound like on the 4L. The super 10 sounds very nice. I might just bite the bullet and score the 9000 though.
