That one is pretty quiet.... I bet the 9000 is really loud. After that sound clip though ill probably go 3000... that one sounded about as loud as a 3 chamber flow.

I'm seriously curious as to how loud that muffler will be. I'm getting a 2.5" ca. Cat and 2.5" muffler. That 9000 doesn't look like much muffling. I know my mustang has the original on it and its fairly quiet at idle but when you get on it its loud.

Anyone ever run a purple hornie? I love the side exit muffler they have that goes on right at the down pipe. Anyone? Or, know of any other muffler that side exits that bolts on directly after the down pipe?

Hello everyone.
I just bought a 96 XJ I6 and found i have a nice big crack in my header right were it goes two to one. So looks like i will upgrade the whole exhaust and be done with it.
I'm gonna go with 2.5 pipes and pretty sure i'm gonna go with the magnaflow muff. of all the youtube vids i watched that one sounds the best to me.
What i need from y'all is header recommendations.
Whats worth buying , whats to avoid? i want max performance but as light on the wallet as possible.
Who usually has better deals ? internet vs local shops?

I was also gonna ask about a header, mine didnt look to bad when I did the mani gasket but I'm sure there are cracks.
Is there a header that will help the renix? All I ever see are ones for the HO.
Also, right now I have no exhaust after the cat.... Im gonna get a "high flow" cat and pipe it from they're. What does that really do to the power?
