I imagine installation isn't too difficult right? I only ask because I remember hearing that some people weld their exhaust where it connects, and that doesn't sound right to me.

its very easy ...and some ppl like to weld there exhaust on and others want to bolt it in for easy changes.

I used extra flanges I got from Napa for less than $10 each. So everything is welded, and I can unbolt each piece individually.

However, my question is for those moving to a complete 2.5" setup.
I got a deal on a stock downpipe, it rubbed like CRAZY on the front DS knuckle.
How are you keeping a 2.5" pipe safe in that area?

Hmm well if its not broken don't fix it lol...ive never really seen to many ppl going 2.5 the whole way..it it seams like a hammer would be about the right idea for that
