Yes, this I understand.
However my point is I wanted an overly loud exhaust. So I chose the Thrush, and it was actually a nice, mellow sound. Not obnoxiously loud.
So, for someone wanting a cheap muffler that is decently loud, the Thrush is something to consider.
And if you don't like it, its only $20 that someone on craigslist would probably buy.

i have looked all over and a piece of the front sensor wiring did did touch the exhaust manifold but fuses are good and i repaired wiring with connectors....but could i have fried part of the pcm or ecu or wire connectors are not carrying the right voltage through....about to give up on it and take it in but i have a feeling that will make me go broke....

Alright I know this may not be on topic...
But I saw a few things in this thread and thought I'd correct or add my info!
Thrush = Magnaflow..cheaper & less quality. But Magnaflow makes them..either one is fine..I think Magnaflow offers a lifetime warranty when you buy directly from them though
Magnaflow vs Flowmaster for performance gains? Magnaflow would produce more gains..reason being is that Magnaflow is a straight through muffler, while the flowmaster is a chambered muffler. But again there isn't much to gain lol, do a 2.5" downpipe/s-pipe if you want gains!
I know theres a few threads online where people have dyno proven results! With mufflers being the only change! Magnaflows will get deeper cleaner sound...and louder as the age because the insulation starts to break down!
I have a magnaflow pencil muffler and a turn down & its loud outside the jeep, but you can bearly hear it inside unless your getting on it!
Magnaflow vs Flowmaster for sound...it depends on your taste really! Flowmasters just don't sound good to me at all! So I would choose the magnaflow.
Edit: Also I got my muffler last month and Magnaflow said they are selling everything that isn't 100% stainless for like 50% off. I payed $48 bucks for it. I got the idea from Eric's XJ. He uses Magnaflow 10416 which is a 16" long pencil muffler. I opted for a 18" because I wasn't sure how loud it would be, and I wanted something quiter since I carry my 1 year old around!
I run that, a turn down and a huge Walker Evans cat from autozone & a stock downpipe! The cat is like 3x the size of the stock one and is Cali legal and it worked great for my Renix.
I'll have videos for you guys tomorrow!
