How hard to tighten the ubolt clamp.

I usually tighten them just short of Hulk strength

So until I struggle with it. Good enough..can I use 10w30 to help my muffler slide on? Right saw that on YouTube.

I ended up cutting my old muffler off (replaced with a stock one) and just using a mallet to make it snug around the pipe, then I pit the clamp on. Tighten and enjoy.

For my new Flowmaster i just hammered the old muffler and tailpipe off. I took the new muffler and cut across the intake about an inch, then used a 2 1/4 clamp to bring it real snug. My clamp had a 9/16ths nut so i used my breaker bar and tightened it till my my shoulder came out of socket again lol

Nope.... I popped it out last year and now if i work it right it'll come back out, the good news is i can but it back in myself its just unbelievably sore. Also didnt write anything at school today cause of it lol

b'day was yesterday trying to finish a senior paper b4 I order my stuff..turn downed after the axle...if I measured wrong it will hit b4 the axle

Oh ok, i though the 10's were pretty short. My new 44 is on with out a tailpipe cause its shorter than the old muffler. Its pretty loud, and of course Happy belated B' day man!!

Yeah you could pick up a flex pipe or another regular pipe and keep the tailpipe to keep the noise down. I like it during the day but going to school early or coming home late at 11 or later in my neighborhood is going to get me into some trouble i think
