Didnt read every post to see if someone covered this....
Glasspacks: the shorter the glasspack itself the louder it gets, the closer you install it to the engine the quiter it will be until you romp on it, the farther toward the back you go you'll get more of the sound they are noted for.
Also they were traditionally installed as "tips" (meaning at the end of the exhaust) a popular mod for them was to get the engine to operating temp and spray/pour water into them the haul ***** to blow them out. I have even seen someone back down a bout ramp into the lake far enough to fully submerge them the take off blowing them out

hey guys i wanna put on a flow master 50 series muffler to my 2001 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 and i dont know what size to get i dont want to have to change the pipes if possible just the muffler. if you guys know what size i need it would be great to here from you i need a little help i am only 17 so havent done to much of this stuff before thanx

I regret my FM 44...... To me it sounds a bit ricey and I'm very self conscious lol. Sounds good at idle but in first and overdrive, way too loud. Im going back to stock muffler and tailpipe tomorrow after i get home from school. I have one question: My cat rattles a lot, well used to when everything was stock, it doesnt sound internal but more like something external came loose and only does it at idle but what can i do to fix that?

Hmm sorry about the 44 then mate try the 40 or the mag flow...as for the cat look at heat shields on it...mines pretty bad to I need to have a look at mine

Yeah i might look at going to something different later but also want to hear my music lol. I think it is the heat shield but what can i do to it?

Magiflow or spin tech!!!....not to sure about the heat Shield...if enough room id just try to jury rig a bolt...or try something else
