Default Axle trusses on low lifts

Any body run an axle truss on anything as low as 3 inches of lift? More specifically a dana 35? Before I get slammed with remarks about dana 35s...I bought it build with 30 spline chromolly shafts, HD carrier, gears, locker and HD diff cover for $100. Plus matching gears for upfront thrown in free. Normally I would never throw money at upgrading one but I'm thinking a truss will help the really weak housing and tubes. Plus I just jumped up to 35s. Bump stopped and trimmed like crazy for a 3in lift. But would a smaller style truss even fit with just a few inches of up travel? I have my doubts about the front with how much steering and track bar I crammed under there but I'm less concerned about the front axle.

A polished turd is still a turd. U just wasted $100 on it. Trussing it won't help you much especially running 35" tires. The ring and pinion is still small

Even with a truss you'll still bust the diff in it before you break the housing.

I don't see a problem with running a small truss, measure your up travel and find the area you have to work with then build to fit. Ps I've run a 35 non c for years with out issue on 36s you should be fine the majority of the time I've broken the 35 is because of a heavy foot

To go against all that you know to be true and what other tell you all I can say is find another to replace it a Chy 8.25 29 spline soon as your running 35's.

At least hope you got the 4.88 gears for those tires with the deal that way all you have to buy is all new rear locker and gears.

My buddy broke a locked 35 in his tj on 33s turning out of his driveway. They break very easily.
