Default B.lee 3 link or keep RC drops.

I'm in a quandary, if I spelled that right. I'm riding at about 5.5 inches of lift. With that I've got Skid Row's belly pan and JCR's Transfer case along for armor and adjustable upper and lower arms. I've been thinking of going 3 link...b.lee's kit but if I do that I lose my armor as the 3-link doesn't work with the belly pan or JCR's skid. With the B.lee I'd probably go with Rusty's T-Case skid but the tranny and oil pan will be naked.
I really don't want to go much higher and I rarely get hung up on the drops but they do hit occasionally and I like the rocks. I'm having a tough time making a decision, upgrade to 3 link and lose the armor or keep the drop and the protection.

Here's a pic of the drops flexing, the pic is when I had 31's I'm running 33's now.

I have my B. Lee 3 link sitting in the garage ready to install, Brian and B. Lee is great to work with, but I see your dilemma, as much as I hate not to recommend Brian's products, I think if you are happy with your ride quality and armor then just keep what you have..... unless you have the money to blow and everything else on your jeep is done.

I'm sure if you really want your armor you could adapt it to fit with the 3 link. I'd get the 3 link and modify the armor to fit.

I would go with the 3-Link and sell what won't fit those are easy ones to sell then buy new ones that will fit your new setup. Maybe the hardest to sell might be the drop brackets but they might be someone's "Huckleberry".

I've run drop down brackets for two years now and the ride qualities are good. The drop brackets do not hang any lower than the BLee LCA, I know cuz' I just removed drop down brackets for the BLee 3 link kit. If you were to extend a line from the back of the drop bracket to the transfercase crossmember, it would match the line of the long arm LCA. So I guess what I'm trying to say, is that you get no more clearance going to BLee's long arm kit than you get with drop brackets.

I think the issue is where the drop brackets are vs the long arm frame side. I've been on drops for several years too. They rarely get hung up, but if you've ever had to back out of rocky trail, you know how much crap you hang up on.

i'd go 3 link (where I'm headed as well) and try to keep your skids. surely a little fab work and you could keep them

I could do a little carving on the JCR TC skid and most likely make that work with the B.lee.

The Skid Row Belly skid won't work with the long arms because of how it mounts. It uses the lower control arm mounts and I do like having the belly protection and the skid's has taken a beating in the rocks.

What are you guys running for armor that would work with the 3 link?
