Bar pin eliminators/upper shock mount extension
So I installed add a leafs and my shocks wound up being too short so I came up with a solution.
A simple caster wheel from home depot
I just drilled two mounting holes and enlarged the shock mount to 1/2 in.
You can't beat that for $6 a piece. They got me an extra 2 inches, exactly what I needed. What do you guys think?

Not sure I'd trust the stamped metal that caster is made from.
While a small or shorter bar pin eliminator bracket made from quality steel is optimum, you get away with using the rear sway bar mounting brackets and do a proper Home brew mod that you can trust.
There is a difference in steels, and a caster is NOT going to be made of something you should be handling suspension duties with. I say $12 wasted, but perhaps it'll get you through till you can figure out a better option, or longer shocks.
PS. Don't take that on the trail like that.

Budget engineering at its finest. As to their strength? only time will tell but knowing the front OEM control arms are flimsy stamped steel I have to imagine they should hold up to light duty just fine.

Shock orientation is wrong?
They are pro comp es1000 said they were for a 0-3 in lift I figured they were okay but after the aal the shocks maxed out. I figured I needed about 2 inches to fix that and the sway bar brackets were only like 3/4 maybe 1 inch.

Cheap ones do not locate the shock properly . I don't think in this application it is going to make a huge difference. It isnt perfect but at least temporarily solves a problem.

Jeep Driver why do you say it's not going to articulate correctly. The shock still moves up and down with no problem and it can pivot on lower mount left to right. Why does it matter if it's turned 90*?
