But in my opinion I would just paint bed liner whatever you want protected because it will also strengthens things up a bit. As they proved in myth busters "line-x" is what they used and proved to stiffen things up!
Looks bad *** to I plan on doing it as soon as the weather breaks!

is this a joke? body armor thick brush? lol body armor is for rocks not cruising threw the prairie i don't think any magnet could hold a piece of metal to my jeep when the whole weight of my jeep is pushing it up against a rock and still trying to move and even if it could how would a magnet that strong not at least scratch the paint? that is what your trying to avoid?

Rare earth magnets? double-sided duct tape? Gorilla glue? Are you going to make an electro-magnetic apparatus that you run while on the trail to keep the armor attached?

U guys will see once i get the patent on it. I made a prototype for my 2000 cherokee. I m making the kit i cam up with for all off road trucks. The kit is gona be for both front fender front doors (pillers are optional) rear doors quarter panels an rear hatch. An this will depend on each truck u have. Kit is gona run bout 5 to 750 bucks it will not protect it if rocks hit it. Like i said in the other post this kit will be able to protect ur truck from brush branches ect i have put it threw a couple of test runs an they did not fall of the truck bc of the way i designed them. Now with this aplication i invented people that have custom paint an expensive trucks can go threw an bushes brush they want an not have to worry at all. I have a custom too ton paint an made my own trails threw the woods an nothing happend to my truck or armor.

Why not post a pic of your armor? Don't think anyone could steal your invention just from a pic to see what it looks like? And 5-750? That seems like quite a bit to protect your paint. Id rather go with the vinyl wrap option at that price.

this just seems like a horrible idea,
1) why get a really expensive, custom paint job if your going to end up scratchin it
2) it sounds like something for a mall crawler who cant stand a little dig from a shopping cart
3) if its held on by magnets, wont it eventually start to scratch the paint if it starts to move around when you hit a tree. and finally
4) A Patent?!?! Really?? you really think that its that great of an idea that it needs a patent? no matter what you do, some company will find out, and if its good enough, will copy it with a slight modification and sell it as something completely different and price it cheaper than you, make mass production of it and then put you out of a job

Please learn the English language. It'll keep people from banging their heads on brick walls.

Thanks
